The dynamic start-up brand distributes its much-anticipated, premier vodka throughout the state
Raleigh, N.C. (August 9, 2017) – Social House Vodka, a new, handcrafted and gluten-free vodka brand from North Carolina, announced today its availability in Wake County, Mecklenburg County and Lenoir County ABC stores and restaurants. Cities from Manteo to Murphy are rapidly beginning to sell the product; residents in Durham, Chapel Hill, Asheville and beyond should expect to see Social House Vodka hitting shelves by mid-August. The spirits brand celebrated with an official launch party in Raleigh on Saturday, August 5 at Vaughn Towers, overlooking North Carolina State University’s legendary Carter-Finley Stadium. The venue featured four unique “Social House Moment” vignettes, exemplifying the vodka’s versatility to accompany life’s moments with friends and loved ones. Guests were welcomed by a tailgate atmosphere, complete with cocktails on tap, cornhole boards and barbecue from Backyard Bistro. They then transitioned upstairs to experience a speakeasy-style bar setting with specialty cocktails, as well as a laid-back living room environment where guests sipped Social House Vodka on the rocks. Finally, the evening concluded with a nightclub backdrop, featuring aerial bartenders mixing drinks in mid-air, a live DJ and dancing.
“It’s incredible to see our journey come full circle this weekend from initial concept to actualization,” said Joshi, president, Social House Vodka. “The support from our friends and family is the original notion that inspired Social House Vodka’s inception, so being able to celebrate our own Social House Moment with them during the brand launch was an experience I’ll carry with me forever. We could not be more proud of the product we’ve formulated, a truly sippable vodka meant for sharing.”
Founded by close friends and experienced trailblazers within the restaurant, hospitality and spirits industries, Joshi, Mark Mullins and G Patel set out four years ago to activate the power of friendship and create a premium vodka made from farm-to-flask in North Carolina. The resulting labor of love is Social House Vodka.
Social House Vodka also recently celebrated its renovated Kinston distillery, Three Stacks Distilling Company, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The rejuvenated century-old, abandoned power plant was the backdrop for a welcome reception for guests, who toured the facility, including local dignitaries such as Kinston Mayor BJ Murphy. The site marks an addition to Kinston’s notable landmarks just a short walking distance away, including the Neuse River, Chef & the Farmer, Mother Earth Brewing and the Kinston Arts & Cultural District.
“We have worked diligently to create a brand that mirrors our personal values – living socially, authentically, sustainably and contributing locally,” said Joshi. “The launch party and Kinston ribbon-cutting are just a taste of what’s to come with Social House Vodka. There are so many ‘Social House Moments’ waiting to be created, shared and remembered with the launch of this product, and we look forward to keeping up with the unique ways our vodka is inspiring the lives of our consumers.”
