Fun To Be Had By All
We made true to our promise! Our grand opening was a hit, with elements of fun, friends, and great drinks! We started out our grand opening by welcoming our guests into our historic vodka distillery that we re-conceptualized into the premium cocktail lounge and working distillery that it is!
We Were Pickin' - Strings and Barbecue!
We were honored to have local North Carolina singer/songwriter, Jimmy Deve, performing live music for our guests outside! The strum of his guitar was just what The PumpHouse 1906™ needed to greet the guests. Guitar strings weren't the only things getting picked, however. A wood-fired whole hog picking commenced, thanks to Sam Jones BBQ! What else would you expect from the best vodka distillery in Eastern North Carolina?
"Growing Together"
The Master Gardeners of Kinston, NC also made a special appearance during the celebration! We are honored to work with their community of gardeners who give back to grow a public garden in our backyard. Their goal? To teach the newer generations of Kinston, NC valuable horticulture knowledge while also supplying The PumpHouse 1906™ with organic fruits, vegetables, and other botanicals for our best craft vodka cocktails!
Also featured in our backyard is a beautiful mural of botanicals and colorful
mushrooms created by Hayden Mills. Her mural was titled "Growing Together." Her phenomenal artistic abilities truly took this backyard space to the next level! With the help of our local Kinston, NC community, the finishing touches were complete!
